Training pay
I'm confused about training pay vs first year pay. So training pay is $97.60/hr, and after we're done with training/OE, the pay will increase to first year pay?
For example: $97.60/hr for about 4 months, then $124.13/hr for about 8 months, then $141.21/hr and increasing every year?
On top of this, during training, we get $1660/month for per diems?

You earn $97.60 / hour year 1, with a 3% increase on September 1st to $100.53. There is no separate training pay. It is straight Year 1 pay, every month.
You get bumped to year 2 pay for your fleet after a year. Ex: Hired 22 April 2024, the your entire April 2025 earnings will be at year 2 rates.
While in MIA, you earn domestic per diem every day. So, in MIA for 31 days in May, you earn 64 hours plus 31 days per diem.

What's the point of YOS 1 pay on the CBA then? I guess for new hires that are already type rated?
Ok, so $3.05/hr for 24 hrs/day for around 90 days.
Now, Article 3. A. 1. e. also states:
New Hire Training Pay. A New Hire Crew Member shall receive $1,600.00 per month in lieu of any other compensation set forth in this Article 3 from his date of hire to completion of Operating Experience or for four (4) months, whichever occurs first. Thereafter, the Crew Member shall be compensated in accordance with this Article 3 in the same manner as other Crew Members.
So this is on top of per diems?

That looks like $1,600 per diem a month as special new hire rate in addition to year 1 pay. That equals 97.60 x 64 = $6,246.4 a month (base pay) plus $1,600 (NH per diem) for a wonderful grand total of $7,846.4 a month in training. After training, you get normal $3.05 per diem/hr (trip) like everyone else as well as whatever you credit for the month, guarantee or better.

My reply below is based on a CBA I found online (DRAFT 3 - 1/1/22)

There you have it! So much better than the former $1,600 per month during training or four months it used to be and sprinkling in the $57 or so bucks a day per diem. I saved a bunch prior to being hired here and worked extra mil duty just to survive that first year at the 50hr minimum monthly guarantee. Good times, at least for here. Then again inflation wasn't like it is now and that is outside the Atlas bubble of issues.

Ah, yes. The first hit on Google. That draft was improved before the actual CBA was signed. Separate "Training Pay" is no longer a thing. Trust what we are telling you. The APC Profile page seems to have been updated as well.
