AMC paid big dollars, but with the loss and I do mean loss of the runs into Bagram/Kabul and those into Europe supporting that debacle it has decreased significantly. Although seasonal I heard the Sports Team moves paid extremely well no matter the insignificant leg distance, NFL, etc. Keep chasing the $ makers. Too bad there seems to be no need for the 747-8i’s laying around In droves.

For AMC - the US military has just put in a permanent base in Poland. For the time being I suspect more AMC flying into Eastern Europe.
With what's now going on in Taiwan, I suspect more AMC flying to Japan.
I also suspect that sooner or later as the US and Mexico become more involved in Trade (Mexico replacing China) our US military would follow to secure the Northern Mexico border.
In short - I suspect more flights to Eastern Europe for the time being, and in the near future we will see military flights throughout the Americas.

We're not there yet with regards to sending the military there.

They would just ship with trucking. A lot more economical and you can ship coast to coast in the same time frame that a widebody gets flown in from Asia to a customs facility just to be put on a truck and brought to it's final destination. So why bother with a plane? Sure there might be the occasional item that needs to get someplace asap. But that's not exactly a booming business. There's tons of carriers thst focus on that market already that operate with significantly less overhead than we do. It's a losing market for us, otherwise we'd have crews flying extra 73s around doing ADHOC.
