Very cool. Things change and my info may be out of date. If a phone contact doesn't come up when you list, you can hit up the numbers on the company website and try to navigate phone menus. Our union website has some points of contact that may be able to help you out too. Hopefully you get the help you need with minimum hassles. There are plenty of us that need to get around on other carriers as well.

Default B777 Jumpseat

Hello, just successfully listed for an OAL jumpseat on a flight out of HKG to Europe (HKG is open now, I guess). How do the seats look on a B777? Recliners? or coach seat?

4 semi-business class seats. Per the CBA, Scheduling must leave one seat empty on an augmented crew flight like HKG/LEJ. However, the CA has the option to fill it with a jumpseater if needed.

The captain would have to be the biggest DB to not let a jumpseater have the 4th seat.

….or the Union has done a poor job educating the crews as to what rights this portion of the CBA actually grants them?

True in a sense at least on the 74. When operating I don’t use the bunks so I ensure the JS understands I will release the bunk during my time to relax/sleep in a recliner. Either we have a problem or I have a seat warmer

Just listed for a JS out of Japan on Tuesday. First time doing the JS on Atlas. Any idea if it will get approved in time for a flight on Tuesday for a first time Atlas jumpseater? I am inside the 48 hours but still well outside the 24 hour international listing requirement. Thanks for the help!

Usually gets approved quickly Monday through Friday. But there are like, only two folks that I know of that process these requests. If you don't hear anything today and you aren't in Hawk, then just call dispatch.

Cool, thanks for the reply. Any idea where to find the dispatch number? I listed on ID90 but in the listing request confirmation email there is no phone number listed. Nothing listed in the ALPA app or on Atlas website either. Thanks a lot.

Sorry if this has been covered. I’m hoping to jump on Atlas from MEM-HNL this Wednesday the 26th. I listed on ID90 travel and on the Atlas website. When will I receive the information about location and show times? I’m new to the jump game so any advice or tips are appreciated.
thanks.
