ONT 767 is not too hard to get Hawaii flying. The lines that do Hawaii are almost pure Hawaii - California back and forth.

Much appreciated! 🤙

Sorry, follow up question, HNL-SYD-China, then where does the route end?

I am only referring to the 747. They all go back to ANC. It’s just one big circle.

The 767 flying to HNL is relatively new. Keep in mind that eventually everything changes at Atlas.

The 767 ONT stuff to HNL isn’t super easy to get either. Probably looking at 2+ years to hold it consistently at today’s standing. Junior trips are the domestic runs or reserve.

Atlas has for more than 15 years run two 747s around the Pacific for Qantas. ORD-HNL-SYD-PVG-ANC-ORD. Sometimes going through LAX, DFW, AKL, MEL, BKK or JFK. The first legs you’re normally waiting for the other plane to come along until you get up to Asia.

Default B767 / TPA Base

Can anyone based in the B767 TPA base comment on the schedule / type of flying (Amazon?) and QOL etc.?
Company seniority required to obtain this base?
7 on / 7 off... or some variation of that schedule?
Number of legs per day, and the length of duty period to complete this daily schedule?
Average length of the overnight rest periods?
Length of time on reserve before holding a line for F/O & Capt.?
Years required to hold a Capt. position, whether on reserve or a regular line?
Thank you in advance for your time in responding.
Regards, AU

Ahh, ok. I noticed it in the Atlas profile section and it got my attention since a good part of my family resides in the area. Can it be assumed that it will be a base dedicated to the Amazon flying? Isn't there a large Amazon distribution center being built in or around the Lakeland airport near Tampa?

I've already spent 10+ years flying widebodies around the world, so I was looking for something providing a better QOL.
