Again, another apology if already asked. Have read through numerous pages seeking the answer. Is the 74 at LAX? If so, about how long before holding it? Thanks in advance.

You would wanna get to HNL on your own and have them airline you from there. Jetstar/Qantas/Hawaiian/Air Pacific. Unless you’re buying tickets I wouldn’t do it on the regular. The atlas bird is a great way there, it’s just getting back.

And with so many Aussies joining, and only so many seats on those Atlas birds, it would be safe to assume that commuting to Aus will become more difficult moving forward.

I am just about to head to MIA for 74 training and I am curious about this post. For Gateway, do they ask us what airline we want to commute on?

They'll try. Also you'll get status on all the airlines pretty quickly.
