So that said, who can somewhat say what’s the current upgrade time on the 76 at the moment?

Plan about 5 years. Someone gave some pretty good figures just before this post. Between now and then the world, company and industry can change in some pretty dramatic ways. I'm just chiming in to remind y'all that upgrades can go long and short without much notice, so setting expectations around upgrade times can lead to some frustrations.

This is important to keep in mind. I have had a lot of 4 year FOs who were told during their interviews that they would be captains “in 2 years”.

Default JFk to ANC commute

Thanks everyone in advance your answers here so far have been very helpful.

Is there a way to see frequency of atlas flights between JFK and ANC

Domestic gateway flights ie between JFK and ANC are in what class of seats if travelling commercial.

Cheers

Yes you will accrue miles with every airline that you are a loyalty member with and will rack up some serious status if you tend to gateway on one carrier. You will then be eligible for upgrades (or use your miles to upgrade) like a normal passenger.

I’ve been seeing recent reviews for some who I presume are Atlas pilots dumping on Marriott properties for not awarding them points or stay credits because the rooms were paid for via corporate account. One of the “perks” being advertised was being able to keep hotel points. Can anyone there now confirm?

We seem to be getting fewer points since we outsourced our hotels department. We used to have internal hotels and ground transportation. We outsourced that to a company owned by former execs. So we get points at some hotels, but we aren't collecting them at many of the places we frequent most often. I'd say I'm getting about 1/3 of the points I was collecting 5 years ago. So hotel points are a perk, but I wouldn't factor hotel points into your decision to come or not come to work with us.

The upshot is our hotels seem to be averaging to a decent level. So our union, company and subcontractor seem to have figured out a decent way to make things work. We'll complain about some things, but we're not in places like the 5 Towns anymore.
