Appreciate the heads up Atrasaty, well done! Boom the world has gone cold, not a single Level 4 remains. At least I bid for a 60 day line to finalize the last locations before we all hyper focus on Big Red again. We all knew ICN and NRT wouldn’t last maybe 2 moons, but fortunately they do sling shot a bunch of flights around Big Red and back to ANC. Definitely a better time to out base in Europe now.

*Maybe a new variant may raise its ugly head or another spike / control mechanism that will trigger the #4 Panicdemic Button, but it was a great break these past few months trolling Europe/Middle East, etc. I will miss the casual BMW runs - back to the salt mines while you can.

The problem is they changed the definition of level 4, it likely will never be assigned.

However it may be, it’s not like most didn’t know this was inevitable but it was nice to pull the mask off in 1st class on my way home. Good stuff.
If company is making $ and we’re making $ running thru Big Red, who knows how long that will continue so we’ll keep at it. Good stuff!

*Will head back to Europe when this dries up perhaps or just go elsewhere and take a break. Like both regions so it doesn’t matter, it’s all gravy.

Rumor has it they were waiting for the Article 33 to go away before implementing DOS +4. Just repeating what I heard don’t shoot the messenger. I guess we’ll finally find out if the rumors were true.

Actually, they’re just waiting until 2025 to implement DOS +4.

Smoke being key here. As in what are you guys smoking. 🤣
Where are these rumors coming from? Probably the same people that thought 33 pay was going to continue for 2 more years. All we actually know was DOS+3 was discussed but the company wanted concessions so the Union said no.

I was definitely hearing rumors about the improved retirement prior to the enhanced retirement and improved LTD.

But by all means, I am more of a I’ll see before I get excited about it type of person.

Spoke with Yngve back in Feb, and according to him DOS+anything was never on the table.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but there are not any discussions going on about further improvements at Atlas Air and there never was any discussion about moving up DOS+(2,3,4) pay or whatever the latest version of that rumor is. There seems to be a lot of focus from Atlas pilots on what gets fixed next. We will be waiting until September of 2026 before we can begin that multi-year discussion again.
