CRT begins when you report and ends when you are released, so first and last day of the pattern are not necessarily a full 4.85 hours of pay.

Second, there is no training pay. Year one, all fleets is $94.76 / hour. You are spot on though for year 2 rates on the 74, $133.11 now... it will be $137.10 for someone hired today.
Awesome! Thanks for the clarification so first year salary once out of training and working would be 7291,- after tax the first year excluding any over times. A shame but something one can budget for with saving the first year if needed. However the second year still meets the mentioned goal of 9k a month (even without overtime assuming 17 days away from base)

What do you mean there is no training pay? Your pay in training is min guarantee, 64 x 94.76 plus per diem so an extra about $2k (tax free) a month. Trust me, I'm in training now.

He means that’s there is no training pay because, starting on day 1, you are being paid your year 1 pay. A lot of us had to go through actual training pay of $1,600 per month until we completed OE.

No sweat. I think it was December last year when the split first year rate was changed to straight first year pay from day 1 (thanks RyeMex for clarifying my statement).

As far as OT, you get the daily rate for the trip, plus 2 hours day 1, 4 hours Day 2, and 6 each additional day. A four day OT trip will bank 18 hours before you see a Jet.

A lot of folks that were hire before the LOA enhancement had to deal with the 1,600 per month training pay….. That was the old training pay. The LOA enhancement got rid of the training pay.

“Training pay” means something different to people that have been at Atlas for a while. Up until recently, “training pay” was $1600/month(plus perdiem) for up to 4 months. What you are experiencing now is NOT what we refer to as training pay…it’s just min guarantee. Enjoy it. We didn’t get it, but we are all happy that new hires DO get much better pay now.

Yes, thank you. I am actually aware that pay during training used to be $1600/mo until the new LOA. I just misunderstood "no training pay" to mean no pay during training. I'm kind of an airline pay geek, I've been following pay closely for most majors, LCC, ACMI, since I first started thinking about transitioning from the AF to the airlines in 2007 so I've seen lots of changes.

Just cause the second one sounds too good to be true. Min trip rig for 17 days out of base would be 82.5 with 4 days OT would you get 82.5 + 18 OR 82.5 + 18 + 4 x 4.85(assuming 4 full days out of base).

You keep thinking Atlas pays by the calendar day. Everyone says 4.85 hours a day but it’s really 20 percent of your hourly rate per hour. If you have a 17 day block and start the middle of day one and finish the middle of day 17 you would get 16x4.85 which is 77.6 hours pay. If you are on a 2 month line you’ll be in the low 70s or high 60s because 6 days were not full 24 hour days for pay purposes. On the other hand, the extra day pay does not require you to be out a full 24 hours into your scheduled day off.
