Do 767 pilots get anywhere near 64hrs at all?

(Checked under “ATLAS” and “POLAR”)

Thanks
As far as block hours, I'd say that the upper side is 60 hours, the lower side is 0 (sitting reserve). As far as hour for pay purposes (credit), that would vary from 64 - 80. However, more and more lines are closer to 64 hours of pay.

As HPIC mentioned things change. My next couple of runs on the 74 within 60 days are HNL 21hrs and SYD 57hrs. All subject to change.

Question Transition

If you get hired on for the 737 or 767 is it possible to transition to the 747? Is it a long wait and you're better off just getting hired into the 747 initially? Thank you.

Easy once your 24 month seat lock expires

I just received an offer on the 737 and am interested in schedule details too. I never saw a reply to the above question and info on this thread regarding the same topic is a little dated. Is there an ability to routinely break the 17 day line into 2 segments?

Any other pertinent details about life in the 737 at Atlas would be much appreciated too. Many thanks in advance.

I would say there are more split lines on the 737 vs 17 day lines. You are looking at 25-40 hours block with one leg days and about 66-78 hours credit each month.

Sounds like a pretty relaxed schedule, thank you for the info. I will assume junior pilots pay dues on the 17-day lines.

Split lines are mostly 60 day lines. So 3 blocks in those 60 days.
This ain’t about paying dues, it’s just the way Atlas works, they own you for 17 days and depending on their needs, they’ll build more 30 day lines or more 60 day lines (this is the case).
Some people prefer working one block and enjoying one big block of days off, and some people prefer the opposite.

Other fleets may be different of course.

737 is also a best kept secret; a lot of the lines begin with a DH, so you actually leave home on day 1 of your trip (and not day 0)
