there is at least one legacy carrier that has it in their contract that resignation letters when furloughed will be disregarded (aka filed in the trash).

Which is why it's damn near impossible to find a job as a furloughee from a major airline. Atlas might take someone like that just to staff up short term but I think they'll find plenty of takers from the "Land of Misfit Toys" who will not be guaranteed to go back to the big leagues. Not saying it won't happen ever but having been ejected out of the 121 world in 2008 I saw it happen first hand. And that wasn't nearly as bad as what we're seeing today.

I'm on the below bottom end of the totem pole at my regional. Off of OE and consolidated but not much more time than that. If/when the hammer drops on me I'll be sending a resume over with my fingers crossed.

My point was that it may not be worth coming here if you hold a seniority number someplace nice. You can certainly come over on furlough, but there are risks to consider.

As all pilots should be. CPZ pilot group has been a very professional but yet fun group. Not a psycho group.

TSA and Compass are closing. More than likely no recall rights.

Not sure recall is possible at those two places.

My question was generalized. Not specific for any particular airline.
