Anyone that interviews- and there will be hundreds.
Key points to study
-company’s background / where we fly
-approach plates
-Nat tracks
-international ops ( metar, taf, prog charts )
-accelerate go / stop
-screen height
- v1 cuts
- how will you deal with 17 day patterns
-drunk captain story ( maybe )
- why atlas now
- what airplane and why. 737,74,76,77
- how will you handle training - ( especially if you’ve been on one airplane for 10+ years )
I’m sure there is more- anyone else care to chime in ?

While any flying job is better than being furloughed come here with your eyes open and don't buy into managements kool aid, we're in the fight of our careers. There's much good here, the crews, training, middle management and the flying are all great. This could be the best job in the 121 world, but unfortunately our upper management is staffed with the most anti pilot executives since the days of Frank Lorenzo and EAL. As a recent example, our union has been trying to work out mutually beneficial solutions to dealing with this virus regarding protecting the crews. Upper management didn't respond for 11 days and only late this week started discussions. Probably because they were forced to; as commercial travel to position and hotel options are rapidly diminishing.
They've sued the pilot group, refuse to ever let us vote on or negotiate a CBA fairly and kept our pay and benefits around 75% less than industry standard, as they get paid on par or greater than the big 3 pax airline executives. They talk a big game but they'll care nothing for you or your family. Case in point, they sued the widow of a crew member who died on the road, to keep his death benefits from her. The only thing they care about is moving their aircraft. Safety? Once again a lot of talk, no action. Another crash is inevitable. Mgt will duck any responsibility for that one too just like the fatal accident we had last year.
Good luck to us all in these turbulent times. Welcome aboard.

I think Southern is probably the better ticket these days over Atlas. Approx five year upgrade on the 777. Direct entry captain 737. Schedules hold up better, less changes. When Amazon buys/breaks up Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings the Atlas 767s and Southern's certificate with (ETOPS) 777s and 737s will be the hot commodity. A new guy's career on a 747 though fun and definitely checks the whale box doesn't have a long term future. The 767 is a great plane to fly though it's not a time builder at Atlas. People like the QOL if you live close to base. It also may be Amazon's most popular aircraft. No matter what anyone tells you it is definitely better than the regionals. And if you are a single man there is money to be made. If you think you may be doing this for a while, talk to some Southern guys.

I'm not trying to crap on the Atlas/Southern guys here. They are a great group of people doing a job that should have wayyy more compensation and QOL than they are getting... and they are fighting for that.
My concern for any potential new hires, now esp from the regionals is that they completely understand what they may be sigining up for.... this industry, and company is totally different from your current flying experience. Be smart, and do your research so you don't come back here in 6 months talking about how difficult it is... you've had your opportunity to do some research and make the right career call.

"What does Hidden mean?"
Mine as well, I applied on the 11th, did some research, and I believe it means we have made it past the first wall or two in the process. Basically they are reviewing our stuff and making decisions on whether or not to give us another call for the full interview (I'd imagine you've already had an initial ,phone screen)? At first glance it seems not great, but based off of what I've read about the icims recruitment software it's definitely definitely not terrible..
