ATI is better today. Atlas has a more diverse customer base for now. ATI and ABX are measurably safer operations per departure. I'll let you do your own research and read into your own tea leaves about contracts, negotiations, etc. Good luck with whatever choice you make.

My understanding is ATI guarantees more. Atlas can pay more depending on how much you are used.

Concept: Every company gets the union it deserves.

The Atlas union has been engaged in a knock down, drag out, gutter brawl with the company for five years. Why? Because that's the environment that's been created by the nastiest, most dishonest and punitive management team since Frank Lorenzo, et al.

The ATI union, well, they're ALPA.

No matter what you choose, you absolutely must realize the stark difference in culture between the two organizations. If negative sounding emails from union leadership upset you, then I think ATI is probably the better choice.

Forget about the money.
Choose the organization that fits your VALUES. You'll be so much happier that way.

This is the best advice I have heard in a long time. Until Atlas management get a compelling reason to accept a low return on the investment of higher pilot compensation there will be no settlement unless forced by either the government (not likely) or the share holders with their feet. The only compelling reason I can think of would be a work stoppage. Problem is that the Union cannot organize that. However, the pilots can, independently and on their own. Unfortunately, Atlas management has been successful in hiring pilots who just are not willing to band together and make that temporary sacrifice. Not casting stones, just stating the facts.

It looks like I have a little more to add. "Under Review" means exactly that. Under review is good because some are no longer under review. Your application status will hopefully change to "hidden." Once you see the "hidden" status you can expect the phone screening to come. When? who knows...some a matter of days...other a matter of weeks.

That seems normal now. Having references definitely helps.

Exactly which measures brought you to this conclusion?

Besides in recent memory they haven’t had any crashes and/or fatalities. We had two crashes last year and a whole slew of damaged aircraft.

Got called about 5 weeks after submitting the app on their job site, did the interview in the last week of October, got word that I was successful and was gonna be put on the preferential hiring list for 2021. As of right now my app also says under review on their job site. hope that helps
