Is there any chance of actual home-basing?

I would say more than a high probability of a no. Home basing is more expensive than gateway. And with the companies first financial offer in negotiations I actually lost money from where I’m at now.
Record profits and literally asking me to take a pay cut. Let that sink in. It took 25 years of pushing to get them to give us trash bags. You think they want to use utilization by home basing?

This is exactly what I was going to post. Atlas was founded in 1992, and we just got trash bags. 28 years of stealing plastic bags from hotel room closets. It's unbelievable........
Over 100 years of Boeing building airplanes and they still can’t put a garbage can in the airplane either.
Well I guess some of us have been spoiled with garbage cans, but let’s go ahead and add our elastic fix for Hot Mic on the Whale 400s.

Thanks Blink, Wasp and Elevation for your time. PBJs and Trash Bags, now we gotten where we want’em... Yup, it’s a crap shoot, we’ll just wait and see what happens and hopefully 2021 proves to be a much better year for everyone worldwide.

You three see me sporting the “Not Your Bag” tag and the new allotted Stupid Zipper Sweater from Outfitters anytime soon come and claim your beer. Granted I don’t drink, but when I do it’s for Free. Normally Emirates/Qatar jets as they have the best stuff. Cheers!

***I was sucked in by a clean looking Brit Mil type sweater with a zipper front non-pull over. Truly no excuse, but after so many years we have 10 of everything and I am unwilling to let that allotment go...

Thumbs up

Anyone's got any info about upcoming Classes on either the Atlas side or Southern?

No specific info but a checkairman told me a couple days ago that hiring would slow down for a few months, southern side here. No idea about Atlas.

I do think we’ll keep gateway. That seemed to be on the chopping block a while ago but talk of losing it has long since died off. Your guess is as good as mine though.

Scope, just like everyone else, is my biggest concern.

Carlson once told me, "If you want a UPS contract, then go to UPS". I wouldn't hold my breath, whatever we get is gonna be ugly. And we'll be in the exact same spot 5 years from that.

I would leave the career before going to this place.

Didn't you post a handful of times asking about you having 20,000h/being employable , having applied to atlas and crickets, etc...?

Tough talk for a guy who interviewed 5/18. A lot of folks with presents under the tree and turkey on the table who otherwise would have been out of a job thanks to Atlas and Southern this year. I’m thankful for that.
