But it doesn't matter. You will be a captain in 2 years. Lol. The only problem. You need 1k PIC. @ 20 hours a month. You do the math
Or you can work for an airline not an outfit. Purple is hiring 1000 over the next two years. No upgrade time is around 2 to 3 years if you want the 757

Amazing what goes through peoples minds when they are looking at a potential gold mine of riches.

Expect for that one detail. The global list that has virtually no movement. Life at the bottom could be a thing.

I recall speaking to USAir guys in the Early 2000’s that sat at the bottom 10% for 10+ years.

True. But it is what it is, nothing one can do right now. And I wish I had made the same money holding a line at my regional that what I make here on reserve.

How much international does the 767 do? Not a lot I assume but does it do much of the South America flying or is that normally the 747?

76 does no South America, for now at least. For international it does a few spots around Asia, Sydney, Europe and the Middle East. Gotta be mid level seniority or higher to get the international stuff consistently.

Blink gave you a pretty good rundown. You'll see the world on OE then see it again in about a year's time. With COVID restrictions and such a lot of the Asia flying in the 767 has gone more junior than normal.

Seeking advice from the peanut gallery:
I applied in the April/May timeframe before the Southern and Atlas hiring sites were merged. My apps show either "received" or "under review." I'm considering pulling and resubmitting the narrow-body app, which is where I really expected to get traction given my experience level.

Do you recommend leaving all my apps alone or resubmitting the 737 app?

Sooo, I don't think anyone here can definitely tell you one way or the other - the HR interview selection process is a byzantine black box to all on this forum (at least as far as I know). I will say that applications *seem* to be sorted, at least in some small part, based upon date of submission. If you haven't received a TBNT email, I'd personally leave it alone...but I was on the outside looking in (only for a bit) and I know how it feels.

Also, isn't "White Morpheus" just Keanu?
