Last I'd heard, everything was "to be finalized" after August for 9S, but I think you were a class or two behind me based on seeing your posts. Did they end up announcing class dates for the 777 and 737 in the fall/winter? We're pretty fat on 737 guys and girls at the moment, so if they're running more guys through that's...interesting.

Also, does Amazon have a primary feeder carrier like Ameriflight? I've been referencing https://www.airlinepilotcareers.com/ameriflight, but I would appreciate any additional information. Thanks!

It is not simple ownership, but rather warrants/options so that Amazon can have some control of any mergers/acquisitions. I am told that this is not an uncommon "thing" between big boys and their major long term contractors, but I am not an MBA.

Well if it were Connie doing the talking.....I wouldn’t doubt that. Bottom line is that K4 will never give a molecule of operational control away. At least as long as the old man is around.

Enough of the tough talk. I have been at K4 for quite some time, and I am sure the conversation between Amazon and Kalitta was friendly. PS was quoted a while back saying K4 would entertain a long term contract with Amazon if the need arises. Long way from the rumors flying about this business deal.
