Hope that helps.

I for example was told during the interview that due to low experience, 74/77 was a no-no for me, and that IF hired, I should expect either 73 or 76. Got hired and offered a class a a day and a half later on the 737. Asked if it would be possible to get a different plane and they said "the recruitment team" determined the 737 was the best option for me. So basically, if you have enough experience, you should be able to choose, as long as they have vacancies of course.

I flew BN-2s in the Caribbean, EMB-135 on the West Coast, both part 135, then CRJ on a rather large part 121. Couple surgeries ruined my part 121 adventure and found myself "employed" but with no income, OFF without pay as I mentioned before on this thread at some point. Fresh ATP here.

Unfortunately, no. The only pay protection that we have of any kind is monthly guarantee (50 hours first year, 62 thereafter). If you call in sick, our pay is effectively reduced by 3.65 hours off credit per day until you’re at minimum guarantee. Taking vacation in a month will result in guarantee. Having a training event during a month will result in guarantee, unless you agree to come in on your days off, in which case you are paid 3.65 hours per day.
In addition to all of that, scheduling can rearrange your schedule at any point in time (you’re required to check it every 10 hours) in such a way that reduces your pay up to min guarantee.
I’m not here to dissuade people from coming to Atlas (particularly for those who are recently out of a job), but I do want everyone to be prepared for what the reality is here. I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to be able to pay your bills off of monthly guarantee.

Not necessarily you but was is common for people around here is to make this sound like Atlas management is out to screw you and do this intentionally to make your life miserable.
Truth is they are working within the framework of the CBA.
So to whomever is responsible for letting a 4 year old write the CBA and especially the Scope....Thank You.

Atlas hr confusion.
If there is anybody on this board who could give me some advice. I had canceled a class date In early Dec and it was accepted. Later I ask to reschedule in Jan she said she would get back to me. I never heard anything else and I took a temp job. I decided to write them in March to see if they had a class avail and they said I no showed for Jan . Long story short they emailed me to a old email account which I had lost the password. The last time I emailed them was with the new email and I expected them to respond to the same. The HR lady didn’t want to admit to the error and just told me to reapply. I reapply just to receive a a rejection email. Is their anybody I can talk to I don’t think this is fair. I’ve tried to explain to her many times I think a little effort would show I never received the emails they sent. Thanks in advance
