Advice to American applicants...

I just updated my application for the first time in a long while. what was the Organization Fit Assessment? I haven't filled it out in a long time so i have no idea what I wrote in there. Is that going to hurt me?
#72
I don't think you understand. A DL rsv pilot can work 15 days (assuming all on days off) and make 150 hours pay. (Assuming 75 hour rsv guarantee and flys 75).

I have no idea what the work rules are like at AA but as a regional guy, I would love to have the problem of being at AA and trying to fix it in the future. With that said, here are most of the work rules at my regional ExpressJet, which is probably only second to Air Wisconson. I copied and pasted this from another thread in the regional section.

If we flew on our 12 days off we would get 90 hours additional pay for a total of 163 hours of pay, with the same assumptions you are making (not flying on work days and only flying on days off). What don't I understand? Seems like we would fly less and make more money.

It is within the rules of the contract. I doubt either example is plausible. Heck, you could potentially make even more within the contract if you premium days went into your scheduled work days. Add three more days for a total of 15 (apples versus apples) that would add 22.5 more hours of pay to make 185.5 hours of pa versus DAL at 150 for the same days worked. Again, either probably far from likely to happen.
