That's what guys are not seeing clearly yet. Using a heavier weighted LOS pushes the previously furloughed guys downward on the combined list and that is what will create a lot of anger. Hence the biggest reason I believe the LAA group is circling the wagons.
If a pilot was a 88-90, 98-00, or 04-08 East hire and was furloughed they will be impacted compared to non-furloughed LAA and West pilots. If they were a 92-93 or 00-01 LAA hire that was furloughed the same will apply to them. And if they were a 90-91 or 00-01 AWA pilot and were furloughed they will be adjusted down compared to non-furloughed LAA and East pilots.
That's what the LAA group sees as the injustice. How could they with their superior airline have pilots that were hired prior to East and West pilots be placed junior to those East and West pilots?

Easy if they considered 3rd listers as constructive notice pilots(of the AWA/US merger). Integrate the list a certain way up until the last 2005 west hire, then go to third listers etc.
