You're the one who stated ALL 3rd listers (every 3rd list pilot) are behind ALL West F/O's. I'm sorry, but my BS meter has redlined long ago and just like your claim of ALL West pilots are fenced off of "East metal" (ALL East A/C), none of this makes any sense to me.

I'm sorry.

It will be interesting to see how the arbs rationalized that one.
I'd have to disagree. When AWA merged with US Airways AWA was hiring 10-20 a month and US Airways was furloughed about 16 years deep. All hiring of third listers occurred after the merger. I'm not trying to say AWA was some kind of powerhouse, but the fact is we were hiring while US was furloughing. In fact, I believe there was a furloughed US pilot in my new hire class and the one prior.

I don't know for sure about AA, but from what I know they only started hiring in the last couple years.

That hiring occurred after the U/AWA merger, but the 200 or so East 3L's hired between 2004-2008 are not conditional notice pilots in this merger and were on East property on 12/9/13, a few of whom were actually Group IV 330 F/O's, if I'm not mistaken, yet they go junior to every West F/O with a later DOH (longevity not an issue), none of whom had Group IV access ?

Doesn't add up to me, what can I say ?

Neither does the claim the West is fenced off of ALL East metal.

I'm not sure you understand what "Third-Lister" means.

They were all hired after the most junior west ex AWA FO. There are about 30 pilots in PHX that are third listers, they are not ex AWA FOs.

If the Nic is not used and a snapshot is taken the fencing is possible. Doesn't seem fair, but it's in the realm of possibility.

Vendetta,

I'm still trying to follow your logic about all the LAA pilots being upset over their placement on the SLI list.

When you look at a 1/4/85 DOH LAA pilot on the list what is the DOH of the LUS East pilot immediately below him? After you look at that then explain how the LAA pilot got the short end of the deal.

For that matter look at the LAA pilot immediately in front of you on the list. What was his DOH compared to yours? A few years later than you?

Not following how it was a overwhelming victory for East and a shaft for LAA.
