LUS has the most retirements in the next few years followed by LAA.

I am happy knowing that I am able to aid in brightening your day. Did not know it was a contest for winning and losing, I was merely pointing out to what you said and my response. I take it that you have had an opportunity to review the post and my making that statement to you about tell it all and even though you have yet to say "you're correct" I know that's what you were thinking.

Wow.

Fenced off of "East metal" means all East aircraft are fenced for the East and none for the West. I guess the West is included in LAA metal ? Plus, No Nic and since that, no Nic-based AAPSIC proposal, meaning LAA loses. No furlough credit, "heavy" LOS weighting (favors East) and my, my.......if that isn't a Grand Slam windfall, I don't know what is.

With a result like that, it's no wonder the only people gloating and singing like Beverly Sills about the arbitration results via diarrhea of the mouth in public are East pilots. Keeping it classy, I see. Anyhoo, should all this gloating and singing turn out to be bunk, you do realize you'll be mercilessly ridiculed for it, yes ?

Personally, I'd be uneasy if I were conducting myself with such brash bravado prior to the release of the ISL, but I guess that's how things are done in the East.

FWIW, I'm not seeing any gloating in the crew room or out on the line. Just internet keyboard commandoes.

I don't think anyone genuinely knows a damned thing.

Wow, looks like the east won the trifecta. No Nic., west fenced off widebody and relative seniority with emphasis on longevity based on 3 stand alone lists.

A "windfall" is a fair merger. To bad you couldn't twa us. Come to think of it the naatives were never involved in a fair integration. You are exactly where everyone told you, you would be right where the flow throughs should be. Gosh I would love to have my convair 580 time added to my los. The superior stance hurt you guys big time just like when the east wouldn't come off doh with nic.

Actually, historically, that's how things have typically been done in the West....brash Internet BS at every turn in the long road, shooting their mouths off day and night, along with twisting the words of others and contract language and facts until they're unrecognizable. This last round of anticipation has the first real semblance of possibly being Fair and Equitable to the East, hence the sharing of positive rumors from East pilots.

As for being fenced off the East's WBs, none of us have any idea whether that actually happened. However, if that's the end result, the West asked for that outcome when they demanded to be treated as separate with their own representation at the table. They won the preliminary arbitration fair and square! Good for them, but what that meant was that they brought what they brought to the merger: NB flying in a low yield hub. It's a choice I wouldn't have made, because as such they could only pretend they had any WB aircraft. Whether and/or when they would have ever flown a US Airways WB is a matter of pure speculation, something arbitrators should probably avoid. Therefore, sad to say, I believe that fencing the West off WB for a period of time is appropriate. To argue otherwise is to have two groups laying claim to one group's equity, in this case the East A330/350s (A350s were ordered long before 2005.) Had the West remained with East, pooling their equities together in unity, then of course the result should be different. But if the rumor is true that the West gets no WB credit and remains fenced, well, you guys can look back and see where your egos got the better of you (yet again.)

Finally, as an administrative note, I lied: I'm not really a pilot for Republic

I think it's pretty funny everyone is getting all worked up over a couple people claiming to know what the results of the SLI are. Maybe they do...Or they could be trolls..I've yet to read anything on here that would lead me to believe that anyone knows what they're talking about.
