I've also noticed a lot of the senior guys have the, "screw the junior guys, I deserve everything, because I'm senior," attitude. Every airline has those kinds of POS, but unfortunately it seems more prevalent at legacy.

We have the same thing at United. Not only do the senior pilots get to bid aircraft seat and type ahead of junior ones, they get to pick monthly flying and vacation ahead of junior pilots as well.

Greedy bastards.

Was he wearing an AWA head band?

Maybe an orange shirt and torqouise shorts?

Cactus or Nicolau tattoo?

American west airlines written on a visor?

Maybe an 'original cactus' tag on his gym bag?

I was referring to max flying with furloughs, jumpseat, parking, etc. etc. etc. Oh, why do I waste my time, go look in the mirror.

Parking? What do senior guys do?? Drive older cars?

And jumpseat by seniority didn't exist in the 'good old days' guys like to talk about.

Max flying with furloughs? AA had the lowest monthly bid cap for years.

Exactly!...and did you know that at some airlines pay rates go up as pilots get more senior? Its pure unconscionable greed.
