Again, those two carriers were almost equals in the eyes of the arbitrators in pre-merger equities and career expectations (55/45), whereas this situation is substantially less balanced in both components. That SLI was also a product of ALPA merger policy consideration which is not in play here (although for obvious reasons, both LUS committees want it to be). The only true supporter of the Nic was the West. The AAPSIC did adopt it (in error IMO) in their revised proposal, but was quick to concurrently point out they believed in the foundation and application of three separate pre-merger seniority lists.

My only expectations (which are not certainties as no one can claim that) are that the Nic will not be evident in pure form and that none of the proposed lists will be adopted. Beyond that, I don't know. Personally, I've already planned being the most junior pre-merger pilot and will be expecting my furlough notice shortly as my steam has already escaped courtesy of your esteemed colleague who delivered it by airmail.
Projection.. No Nic. No reAAl list (that was plain crazy). Compare the three proposed numbers. I expect most everyone will fall easily between the AWA and US number. And of course more concessionary contract in 2020.

I guess we can't argue with that. Interesting though how the company would know the timeline already considering you'd think they wouldn't know the comments or their ramifications, let alone counter-comments that have yet to occur. It almost sounds like it's them that is controlling it with the other parties agreement.

Things that make you go Hmmmm..................

In essence an LUS victory over LAA and within LUS, an East victory over West.

Gotcha.

For someone with no agenda, that's an interesting "projection". It also is an interesting (but predictable) belief of "fair and equitable".

May all your expectations come true

That projection is based on reading the tea leaves of "leaks". I'll add one more. Various groups of the the list will be merged by different factors (not really earth shattering).

We can compare notes when it comes out.

Regardless it will be fair, equitable, and implemented, and I'll never say otherwise.

Well they aren't abiding by the 10 day comment period to begin with, draft delivered on July 18th and they moved comment period from the 28th to July 5th at the request of one of the parties. So yeah, things that make you go hmmmmm.

Leaks ?

I find it interesting the only leaks I've heard are from East pilots. No offense, but if I had to pick one of the three sides to not honor their agreement to refrain from that it would be that one, especially considering the past.

Nothing to compare as you already have my notes; No pure Nic and none of the three models adopted. Anything else is possible.

Considering the tea you seem to be enjoying, I'd not expect anything different from you.

You seem very testy and condescending.

No offense taken. A Nic win would have been leaked by now. No Nic means no reAAl list (The 9th's last minute intrusion into the arbitration really threw the reAAl committee off balance. Too bad really.)

Come on, go out on a limb. If there is no Nic then the numbers are gonna fall between the AWA and US numbers. Throw in a wide body fence.

Comment period is for comments. Duly noted. Move on.

It's all entertainment. . Fair, equitable, implemented.

What are the leaks?
