Fellow Phoenix pilots.
Can CLT,PHL and LUS DCA be the NEXT PHX?
Late today, I heard from the 4th person, unaffiliated from the other three, so either a vicious rumor or the unfortunate truth. I think it's the later.
There is another LAA equipment bid!
The bid is slated to close in OCTOBER, well after the SLI and SFP.
Of course, PHX will not be allowed to participate in, but PHL, CLT and LUS DCA are slated to be excluded as well.
The expected and all too familiar “PHX can stand back and suck on it” excuse doesn't fly this time.
I suggest you stop by the Office to help the company understand our displeasure.
Take care

sadly this is what many think. the west pilots make themselves look this way unfortunately.
96% of this poor sentiment towards our brothers and sisters from PHX is due to the internet forum keyboard warriors. The remaining 4% is the result of shoe polished shoulder straps, cracked windows, knotted o2 hoses, and buried headsets.
I would mention the idiot captain that signed the aml 'G. Nicolau III' also but I heard he got fired for being a schmuck.

Vendetta,
I'm sorry for your family's loss, and that the mourning period and memory has to be stained by West pilot secretions. These guys have always been such a class act. Their videos will live on forever as proof. Snotty children with epaulettes, and WD and CB53 typify the lot of 'em.
I wish you and your family all the best.

I think you may be sadly mistaken but I shall however give you the benefit of the doubt. I see that you are beyond 100% sure of the final outcome and anyone with those kind of connections to the panel has to be someone of higher authority correct? If it is as you say then congratulations are in order.

And the *******s who dumped water in the printer.....
Whichever fools are doing that really needs to re-evaluate whether they are mentally stable enough to be in this line of work.
A lot more innocent stuff has led to lives being lost.

LUS EAST
VACANCY BID
Fellow pilots
The recent APA communications update regarding the LUS East Vacancy bid references the fact that “respective domicile officers engaged management” in an attempt to open the equipment bid to as many American Airlines pilots as possible…etc.etc
The fact remains that your LUS-East representatives were NEVER consulted about the bid before or after its announcement, nor did we have any discussions with APA or the company about it.
It is our understanding (after the fact) that all three SLI committees were advised of this bid on June 6, 2016, and we are being told that not ONE single complaint originated until now. The bid itself and this recent APA communications were a complete surprise to us.
Apparently, LUS-West and a few LAA union officials questioned the company’s timing and necessity of this recent bid. That's confusing since LAA just had a bid that recently closed for November and another which will close for December 2016. Who's complaining about those?
Given the legal history that LUS brings to this merger, we can only assume that this blast had a DFR concern. Be that as it may, it was poorly written, and could have and should have been better constructed.
Furthermore, APA has put themselves in a very dangerous position by mistakenly opposing and interjecting themselves in a pre-merger legacy airlines equipment bid process. While the statement from APA National purports to be inclusive of all legacy carriers, something is amiss.

I don't know JohnS but does he not read Company correspondence? As a base rep you would think he would be keeping up with what the Company puts out to his members. This information was put on AA pilots on 8/9/16. Why the post over two weeks later (August 26) complaining about how everyone is being mistreated?
Did it take him that long to figure out what the Company post meant?
Anyone else notice the CLT blast stating that the West SLI Committee was told of the East bid on June 6?
Is JohnS on the West SLI committee?
Then did you notice that on August 9, JohnS wrote to the West group, "I am as gob-smacked as the rest of you!"?
Someone is not telling the truth as the CLT and PHX reps have opposing stories (go figure).
What's not questinable is that by at least August 9th every AA pilot had the ability to know what JohnS finally blasted in his latest complaints of the mistreatment of the West.
I'm not questioning the complaints that you West pilots have. I am starting to question JohnS' tactics. They seem to be a little misleading and intentionally planned to be divisive.
What's your view WD of the 17 day delay to respond to what the Company put out?
