In the AW/US merger, US ALPA wanted LOS. You guys said that LOS or anything DOH related was outdated and of no value. Fast forward to last year. The east merger committee largely abandons LOS/DOH as you guys recommend, and they are hypocrites. Veneer you said?

I'd say a false veneer is claiming in 2005 that LOS doesn't matter, it's where you are on the list on a given date, then changing to a LOS/category and status and using east LOS!

Okay, my apologies. I'll take your word that you aren't a westie, I just find it amazing that guys outside this waste their time.
Anyway, people, not just pilots, do that. You are doing the same thing. The east adjusted it's position after realizing that DOH alone has been abandoned for pilots. Instead of recognising a good move, you assign other motives.

What's your motive/interest in this if not an east/west pilot? Be honest with us and yourself.

Don't you see the hypocracy in your posts? It's time for everyone to move on, that just doesn't mean the West pilots. You continue to argue history. Who cares. It's just that, history.

I'm watching East pilots continue to attack West pilots while simultaneously telling the West pilots to get over it. A fire only burns if you continue to add fuel to it.

The award will come out in a few weeks. The loser has to understand the fight is over and it's time to move on. The victor needs to be thankful after nearly a decade of struggles the outcome has been decided to their benefit but it's time to collectively move on.

Their are several East pilots who post on this forum that are just as bad, and in some respects worse than the West pilots they are criticizing.

We are all adults. Highly educated. Professional airlines pilots. Why can't we act like it instead of acting like a bunch of immature teenagers?

We don't know which side will be the victors concerning the NIC award. We also don't know which pilots will come onto this forum rubbing unnecessary salt into the wounds as they sophomorically boast of their gallant victory that will only show to us all who the real childish hypocrites are.

Win, lose or draw, ALL must quietly move on. Unfortunately, we all know kids will be kids.
