AA recruiting doubles number of Fast Passes -
#21
Cause, maybe all other slot times are already taken, I was able to choose a day and time for my fast pass the day it was rumored open.

AA is a good place to work. I've been doing it 31 years now.

"Letter T" recalls expire around May 1. The company is expecting less than 100 to come back (the rest lose their #'s and apparently have something else to do) and then resume hiring/flowing. OTS hires enjoy a good reputation here with least amount of remedial training.

Even if that's true, what about after 24 months? There aren't enough military folk getting out to staff all the hiring wants of the legacies and SWA. You're foolish if you think getting face time with a company you want to work for is a waste of time. I know one of the hiring guys working at WAI this year- he flew King Airs before he got picked up.

It's what I would do if I was interested in neutering a unionized group in my company for the future.

Well that's good news guys. AA is still my #1 and one of my two passes at WAI. Just got a little frustrated that a VERY qualified individual got this info after being rejected. There may be some more to that story.

From what I've heard it will continue as is. That being, there will be a mix of backgrounds with no specific background rejected. If you ask me (and this is just my opinion), AAG seeks a "giving" personality, hence the demonstration of altruistic aspects in your life like volunteering. IMO, I think they see people like that as likely being more passive when it comes to staunch unionism and it would be a good business practice to seed an employee group (especially one that will see high turnover in the next decade) with people with that disposition so as to minimize dissention and conflict thus increasing the degree of passivity within the group.
