No sense at all....
For the millionth time, an award that was not implemented at the time of the merger in December 2013. It wasn't going to be implemented anytime in the near future.

I agree. The East should have abided by that which they agreed to and had they, the Nicolau wouldn't have been an unconsummated hypothetical, but instead a pre-merger reality. Unfortunately, it's status in reality puts it at odds with PMCE, which in this situation Freund believes shouldn't apply (unlike UAL/CAL) and so a conflict exists on what should be a more primary goal. In weighing PMCE vs. the Nicolau, which component benefits the majority and which the minority (actually extreme minority) ? How will those to aspects be weighed ?

None of us know how the arbitrators will feel about that until they reveal their ISL.

Really ? WHO would have argued that UAL furloughees should go ahead of CAL captains and is he standing by the same belief here ? If not, what is the lesson in that that HE HIMSELF is inadvertently confirming to us all considering the factors in THAT SLI were a product of an inapplicable merger policy in this SLI ?

Could it be as heard from Nicolau that, "each situation turns on its OWN facts" ?

Arguably, even in the not-so-near future. As is proven to this day, neither side will EVER capitulate on this issue and no outside mechanism (legal or otherwise) could be identified to force it one way or the other on the two separate pre-merger pilot groups.

Nice try Prater, Rice, Gillen and Brucia.

Jeff Freund, difficult to win without ALPA's involvement hey? AWA, East pilots, bzzzzt. AWA, American legacy pilots, bzzzzt. Time to leave, because no one will want more.

You sound just like the guy on another Forum who calls himself CLAXON.

Aren't you the former President of USAPA?

I've heard it for a solid nine years give or take....
Give us what we want or we will sue.... Result stuck in PHX
DOH or bust.... Result LOA 93 until the merger

Thankfully it's almost over, I hope.

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
If you could provide any evidence of the East Pilots not having "abided"
(your spelling) by the agreements they made, it would be very helpful to the readers.
