You sound amazingly like cactiboss. He too got most of his legal opinions from the AWAPPA board, with disastrous results.

The philosophy is about what each of the three separate pilot groups brought to the table in terms of incoming generating opportunities present at time of snapshot and looking forward into the future. Any group that gets more then they brought is argued to receive a windfall, especially if another pre-merger groups pays for it with lost opportunities.

I think that's the primary question that the process is supposed to vet. What the arbitrators place as the primary goal of realization be it Nicolau or PMCE (the two cannot coexist without mitigators like fences) is the 15,000 pilot question.

But that's the thing EF, our raise didn't cost you anything, it helped you. In the AW/US merger, we didn't all make the same on day one of the merger. So, management would have taken that our of all of our hides. With this one, the cost of the raises for ALL of us was a cost of the merger.

But you are right, no telling how the panel will weigh it.

I think if you record Esadof and play it backwards, it would say cacti.

Important tidbit. America West pilots have not yet received a dime of the threads titled 5.5 million. A judge in a Carolina District has to approve the transfer. The Judge has to consider the East pilots contributions, results are fluid.

ALPA tried to pull a fast one on the East pilots using the America West merger as an excuse to better United pilots. After the America West merger with the East, United merger was next.

Nice try Prater, Rice, Gillen and Brucia.

Jeff Freund, difficult to win without ALPA's involvement hey? AWA, East pilots, bzzzzt. AWA, American legacy pilots, bzzzzt. Time to leave, because no one will want more.

It makes no sense that anyone would place any importance or weight on an arbitrated award, especially when both sides agreed to be legally bound by the award.

No sense at all....

You mean like furloughed pilots being placed ahead of active pilots who were Captains? We had 2006 hires at CAL who were Captains and 1999 hires at UAL on furlough. Guess who ended up being more senior?

As was heard in the movie Caddyshack "You'll get nothing and like it"
