Philly is ghetto, you AWA guys can have it

Curious were Dougie will put the A350.
LAX might get a bit more senior when they downsize Phoenix. Sorry guys your domestic leisure market isn't the biggest money maker out there.

PHL 767 as a guess. Today's conspiracy theory is 330s to Miami and 767s to PHL.

I am hoping the PHX boys will gallop to PHL/CLT/DCA to take their rightful place on the list.

What kind of time frame is this happening? LOL. Ton of socal commuters out of PHX will bid that just to sit reserve.

I don't have a clue but it will be coming, at Doug's earliest convenience of course. Moving planes where they think they can squeeze every last nickle out of everyone.

Just trying to plan my last 15 years

I think that was in reference to your widebody FO out of LAX remark. That's a super senior status and the bottom guy on reserve is a late 98/early 99 hire. That said, I have no idea what your seniority is or will be.

DCA, not sure where you are based or what equipment you are currently on. As to you being able to hold a WB FO position any time soon, that might be a bit of a stretch. Two of the three committees proposed WB fences for both seats, in varying time frames. The three arbs will make their proposal some time soon and that will give you everyone a better idea of what the future holds. I almost at the bottom of the 787 in DFW, the most senior base in LAA, and I have been here since '99. LAX and ORD are about the same on the 787.

We live in interesting times.

I'm a '12 LUS hire that is sick of commuting to the East coast from SLC. PHX, LAX, DFW, and even ORD will (hopefully) all be better choices for me.

Can any LAA guys give me some insight into sitting long call rsv: What's your utilization like? How often are you getting called out right at 12 hours prior/are you getting assignments further out? Are the assignments always awful (redeye or deep south flying)?

Just trying to figure out if sitting long call from SLC will be practical with being based in LAX, DFW, and so on. Thanks.
