I think there are 12-16 Third List pilots on West as well. Anyone know how many are on the East? I want to say 800ish?

The same thing seemed to occur just prior to the last hearings with the 9th. This is understandable, considering the situation.

The question is what will result ?

Will Silver expand the 9th's ruling to require any East committee to advocate the Nic only ? Will she go even further and enjoin APA to require that of any East committee ? Will she go still further and require APA to validate the Nic itself ? If so, will APA seek any deliniation between requiring a two-list consideration (as opposed to three) as not the same as requiring the arbitrators craft any ISL on that two-list basis and also that if not, agreement that the arbs WOULD NOT be "reordering" the LUS list ?

Again, it's clear to me the West wants to ensure a situation is in place whereby only two lists are presented to the arbs and once they can do that, they can (and WILL) argue that it is improper to reorder ANY submitted list and that if they disregard their presented list, they must reorder the pre-merger LAA list, as well. This would essentially be indirectly strong-arming the arbitrators into the requirement to incorporate the pure Nic.

The ultimate goal is to not only get a full Nic victory from Silver NOW, but then use that to engineer a situation that pressures the arbitration panel to use it and alleging impropriety if they don't. This is simply a Leonidis sham in progress using a play from the old dog-eared USAPA playbook.
The Aapsic is in deep doo doo, serves them right for trying to leverage the east's dfr and being "new nic's" to disadvantage west in their proposal. So now they are in a political nightmare, do right thing and use Nic (politically tough) and end up with best result for laa pilots or stick to their "new nick" status to keep laa pilots politically happy and get clobbered on the sli. Decisions, decisions......

Welcome to integrity in action!! They ratified the MOU (just like that old 2005TA) but they object to following their agreement. What did you expect.

No one can guess how this ends.

Maybe, but several hundred of them are constructive notice pilots so technically aren't third listers but new hires at AA.

The AAPSIC is in "deep doo doo" ?

Uh, you mean APA don't you or is it now your assertion that even AAPSIC must advocate West pilot demands along with USAPA and possibly an East committee ?

Who's next in your scortched earth campaign to crush everyone and everything in your lust for a windfall........the arbitrators ?

You and I both know damn well it is.

The rabid West is now so out of control, apparently they demand everything from everyone.

We only demand the Nic. nothing else. Just pointing out the reality the aapsic finds itself in.

What, that if our committee doesn't drop to its knees and beg the West for mercy, the arbs will punish them ?

In the past, you claimed.........ooh, no.......we're not interested in forcing the LAA committee to advocate the Nic, only the East and looky here..........Like I said all along, the West demands everyone recognize the Nic and soon they will demand it of the only entity left that they have NOT demanded it of.......the arbitrators.

Personally, I'd like to see what happens if the arbs get bullied by the West into such a position. I think it more likely that they go out of their way to **** you as opposed to AAPSIC in that case.

I think you're playing with fire now and even Silver won't be able to salve those burns if the arbs blowtorch your ***holes.

Way off the mark as usual. Read our filings, we don't want any restrictions on what the aapsic argues. "bully" the arbs with a seniority list that was arbitrated and deemed fair? That's rich, compare that with making up a list out of thin air like the "new nicks" did, its just so stupid.
