How do you get a median total time that has a range of 4,000 hrs(6,000 to 10,000)?
Aren't 87% of all statistics false? And the other 32% are made up? I don't know why people get worked up over this crap, who cares. |
Relax. Sounds like a lone wolf (truth be told he's probably part of a very small pack) who's been fed that he's the best of the best that is having a tough time coming to grips with a seniority based world and being at the bottom. He'll figure it out eventually.
No effort will be put into placating him. |

EF, you of all people shouldn't be pointing fingers at others getting upset over inaccurate descriptions of their particular employee group. APF is chock full of EF novels tackling the ever-maligned Eagle flows...

FWIW his numbers are way off. We had 25 in my class. 27 was probably the youngest. I was 40 and was #11 out of 25 in age. Everyone had turbine PIC. The military guys had the lowest total time but even we came through the door with well over 3,000 hours and plenty of PIC and IP time.

You, you're providing a service. |

Ah, I see now. When others get upset about the SLI and how they're perceived as being treated poorly, they're just "emotional".
You, you're providing a service. His "letter" has no real obtainable goal or point and is merely venting. I can see why it WOULD generate an emotional response as it was inflammatory though. That being the case, some will read it and move on in disregard and others will feel compelled to respond even escalating an essentially pointless exercise. Hey, you're free to be the person you are, but IMO, too many pilots are too emotional and that's not a good trait. Another example is the reaction..........actually OVERreaction to the AAPSIC's use of "superior" in describing pre-merger AA vs. pre-merger US and not that of individual or collective pilot worth. As long as so many of us let emotion alter our actions which is the foundation of division, management will play us like the chumps we are now and forever. But, by all means continue on......... |
Eagle Flow?
Did he come from Eagle?
|
Don' forget, we also have the Eagle guys that are trying to sue for their "rightful" seniority position even though they haven't even set foot on AA property.
