Sorry. Tell THEM to quit suing.

Go get one yourself, I've got mine already.

The MOU timeline is dependent on many factors. SLI doesn't really start until JCBA completion, right? It's already a few months late, right? If we vote the TA down, it could drag out more, right? You said "on time", right? You're already wrong. Detail matter.

Don't stop rationing the water on the island.
If I understand correctly, it's just the arbitration that can't begin before the JCBA is complete and the MOU requires that SLI be complete 24 months after the effective date. If that is the case, then I don't think a delay in the JCBA should affect the SLI timeline.

The SLI process assumed the arbitrators would take perhaps 6 months to rule and award their ISL. It may not take them that long though. If AA pilots do indeed decide to castrate their future leverage over some earlier and slightly higher bribe money at the end of the month, the early December MOU deadline is still obtainable.

Hey guys, quick question: you all may not care much, but I got hired on the west last february. The guys that got hired anywhere post December 2013- will they be on a separate list and be integrated based on DOH? Or will the new guys on the west be filtered in accordingly if/when the SLI is completed? Please spare me the insults, I was most junior in class, so no choice of base. Probably would have picked PHX anyway since I live there. Thanks!

I should think that post-effective date hires will be ordered DOH/adjusted occupational date or adjusted DOH/occupational date, wherever you are in the system.

Pre-effective date hires is where the uncertainty is, and where the usual suspects will pounce.

In general, pilots hired after the merger has been announced are considered constructive notice pilots and in general are placed at the bottom of the integrated list in Date of Hire order with their counterparts at the other airline(s). The term "constructive notice" means that before you started work at American/US Airways you knew that your career would be affected by the merger of the two airlines and therefore you had "constructive notice" of the effects of the merger. All pilots hired prior to the merger announcement did not have this notice and are subject to the negotiated or arbitrated integrated seniority list.

I hope that helps. And I hate you anyway even though I don't know you, it is mandatory to have insults on this thread and I didn't want to break tradition.

Agreed as the most likely result. Everyone hired post-merger has the same career expectation model regardless of which side they were hired on.

The big question at the bottom of the list is how will third listers get slotted with Eagle ~824 flows.

I was hired before any of the 824 flowed (I think), yet many of the aforementioned Eagle flows feel that they should be slotted above me.

The 824 don't bring over any type of seniority. Think they bring sick or vacation time though. There DOH is there first day in indoc like every one else.
