With strict relative seniority, no one on either side will lose their relative place on the list. If you were a junior FO, you will remain a junior FO. If you were a senior CA, you will remain a senior CA. If you were smack dab in the middle of the list, you will remain in the middle of the list. That's really the only fair way to do it.
You have lots to learn about seniority integrations.

As a fellow "Third lister", I would like to voice that the ignorance and sense of entitlement that Canoe and Texaspilot display on this forum does NOT represent the majority of the group. I think they are the outliers that slipped through the cracks. Oh well.

OK, I guess I feel entitled because I don't want to lose my relative position on the list. I apologize. I'll just smile and bend over and be a team player while I get screwed.

I guess it's all about you.

Furloughs are not active pilots, therefore not part of the seniority integration.

Where is it written that only "active" pilots will be considered part of any given seniority integration. Has your litmus been applied to every SLI in the past ?
Man, you been spending too much time on planet USAPA.

Since US rode to AA's rescue could you post AA's BK pay rates vs. US' pay rates outside of BK? Not the MOU pay rates but the pay rates without the merger.
And if relative seniority is the fair way why didn't that happen in the UA/CO merger?
You can't separate US east and west w/b percentages(15% and 0%) and count them seperately. It was a combined operation. Roughly 8% vs. 20%.

The best we third listers can hope for is a longevity adjustment, which I think would be fair. We are getting to the point where there are many third list pilot could have more longevity than some AA furloughs. I think an adjustment for that should be made a la UAL/CAL.
