Also do you think the lack of S80 this go around was due to the school house slowing up? I have some buddies on some nice breaks (4-6 weeks off) after Indoc waiting to start. They keep telling me the need is heavy for S80 DFW f/os before the summer. Also is the airbus becoming more senior? Hasn't dropped in 2 classes now?
Apparently the guy in charge of scheduling training said that the need for FO's was greatest in DFW S80, but the training is so backed up so they only put 2 slots in the 18 Feb class, that is the only reason there were only 2 slots in the last class.
Airbus is going junior within the current pilot FO's but it is not making it to new hires at the moment.

The lack of S80 slots is due to a back up in training. The 2 guys that got it in the 18 Feb class are gonna be at home for about a month.

I did the video interview 31 Jan; still crossing fingers. Thanks for all you posting the timelines/class info. It really helps getting a up to speed on the American hiring process. Looks like great things ahead for the new American. One guy from my squadron is hired and another is interviewing next week... great dudes. They must be doing something right.
