American interviews and class dates

Not sure. I have heard from friends already in traing that some guys have not made it through the background check. More for not disclosing check ride busts etc.

Correct. Asking friends in earlier classes this seems to be an accurate for their interview classes. We heard a rumor they were trying to offset most of the civilian flow throughs fwiw. Similar to what delta is doing currently with their interview mix.

My understanding was no. They completed our background pretty fast so my take is they know the PRIA history well before getting a conditional offer.
Big takeaway is to be honest and forthcoming in the interview. It shouldn't be a show stopper unless it's kept a secret. They gave us multiple opportunities to admit if we had any info to bring up that was not put on the application. Later in the closing HR interview they ask point blank about check ride failures again.

Simplest answer? 150 when the second Feb class starts this week.
Gets tricky to define - first class of AE 824 came through on Dec 7(?). BK closed Dec. 9(?).
25 guys(?). Second class later that month. 50/month Dec/Jan/Feb(second class this week).
So if you count the 824 as 'off the street'(ie none furloughed/flow through guys) by the end of Feb it will be either 125 (BK closed after the first class) or 150(BK closing 2 days later trivial in the big picture).
If you don't count the 824 as 'new hires' half of Jan and half of Feb (second class breakdown guess) hires were part of the 824 and half (50) were pure newhires with no access to the job via the AE seniority list(824).
Couple of guys have been AE guys that have gotten hired as newhires vs. waiting for their 824 number to be hired.
