Once you're on property your 3* will show the date of your lock-in release.

No lock in for a base transfer , same seat /same ac.. APA also has mutual base exchange ..i.e. LAX guy wants mia/ Mia guy wants LAX ... long as someone is junior to both at both bases , you can swap. It's a pretty good way to move around .
Joe
Ps.. agreed 767 flying is great in mia.. but as previously stated, you'll be junior forever, but if ya live there, grab it!!

Mutual base exchange across the fence starts Jan?? It's a way to transfer between bases even if there's no movement. CLT-MIA, PHX-DFW, CLT-PHX, LAX-PHX, PHL-LGA. All AB bases.

Looks like MBE closes on 11/3 and the vacancy bid closes 11/9. Will we know the results of the MBE prior to the closing of the vacancy bid on 11/9? I believe one of the restrictions of the MBE is you cannot have a future effective bid.

I don't know when MBE is published. I normally just check when the vacancy is published. So MBE is already there but I don't know if it's been there for a couple days or if it's released when the vacancy awards are published.

Quick question...

Are they still asking/giving new hires class option for LAA and LUS?!

That'll all be moot by October for sure. I think that dual path continues until SFP since up to that point, pilots exist in either the LUS partition or the LAA partition. But beyond SFP, there will be no such thing as LUS/LAA for new hires.

Lots of prep companies out there is one better than another? What's the difference? EC, FAPA, CIC, Cage what else is there? Who's had success? Who has not?
Is it airline specific? Target United or American use..? Use one to get an interview and another to get by the interview?
What is the best career prep company for the application? Testing?
Interview?
