I was acquired, not hired....

Maybe I should send in a resume....If hired i'd probably gain some seniority.

Good Luck to all

FWIW…a CA I fly with who claims he has high-level connections at AA was saying yesterday that they have done one round of hiring, and are now paused and tweaking (not to be confused with Miley Cyrus' dancing) their process, with the plan to start up again soon after 1 Jan.

Third-hand RUMINT...

I guess it gets down to the definition of 'paused', 'tweaking', 'to start up again after 1 Jan'.

They've already done the second round of F2F interviews (12/18?).

Default American interviews and class dates

Didn't mind being one of the Guinea pigs. Hopefully they don't change the process too much. F2F was very friendly & relaxing.

Took video interview last week. Received the "Additional information is needed in order for evaluation of your application to continue further…." email this morning. Added SSN and DOB to aa.pilotcredentials.com immediately.

Anyone know if the F2F is a sure thing after this step?

Seems they are checking credit before the face-to-face invite? (unless you have to sign something for that?) You should get a hit (alert) if they check it right? I am curious to see if that is what they need it for. Interesting and good luck!

or its part of whatever background check they do. It sounds like their background checks are pretty thorough.

For those of you who have done the AA video interview recently, are the questions still the same as what was posted a month or two ago? Or have they switched them up? Thanks for the help, I got the email and will interview in the next day or so.

Jamaican, would you care to share your level of experience? Feel free to PM.
