28 years in, I'd say weekends is when most pilots are at work... Ymmv

I don't know about the indoc portion, school is usually 4 on 2 off

Do most people commute home and back on the weekends?
Indoc (in January) went Tuesday through Saturday, and I think we were out by 11am on Saturday. Same for ground school. I don't know how many people commuted on weekends, but you're allowed and you will have access to A3 tickets (positive space) if you want to commute.

Great. Thanks!

And yes I understand many pilots work on the weekends Frip but long term training at my current company didn't touch Saturday or Sunday so I was just curious.

When they were doing interviews consistently last year / beginning of this year, the wait time was around 2 weeks

Adanac - make your A3 non-rev listings as soon as you find out when you're done on Saturday. You can typically make them for about 3 weeks in advance. List as far into the future as the system will allow you (about 3-4 weeks, it varies).

It's only positive space if there are seats available when you list yourself. So listing on Friday afternoon for a 5 PM flight might be on the standby list. But if you'd listed yourself (A3) two weeks prior you'll have a seat.

I believe September 6th class was last class with recalls that could have chosen to "not show up" .... I'm assuming all new hires will show up..🤓
