Anyone have any intel on qualifications for recent calls to interview? More specifically, are folks getting calls without a college degree? Pretty strong resume otherwise - community service, director of ops 135, check airman 135, tons of turbine PIC, etc. Probably going back to college anyway, just curious if anyone getting called without it. TIA.

Piedmont's will increase to 6 once there fleet grows. Seems like with all the flows that most AA class's will be over 50% WO'ed pilots flowing.

Mentioned a few posts above... Envoy is 50% and can be metered down to 20 per month. Piedmont is 3 per month but will soon increase to 6. PSA I heard is 3 per month or per class...but that's not confirmed by anyone who knows for a fact. Last few classes had roughly 20-25 new hires. I realize half were furloughed guys coming back but at some point it will be all new hire.. So a class of 20 new hires will consist of 10 Envoy, 3 PSA, and for now 3 Piedmont... That's 16 of 20 filled by flow agreements... Which leaves 20% for off the street hiring. I realize my calculation is generic but I think for the next few years 15%-30% will be off the street.

All depends on class sizes.....they still have not called the off the street guys who interviewed in Oct, Jan, or Feb. I think once they resume interviewing again it'll be a good indication they need OTS guys.
-Any interviews planned for this year?
-Estimate of how many pilots they will need this fall?

I interviewed Feb 7/8th no one in my class received a CJO. They mentioned during our interview they were planning on cancelling the next interview session(s) so I think we were the last class to interview this year. .. Hopefully no news is good news! Someone did mention the Oct session was offered July 21st class date. I wonder how many guys are in the pool from Oct, Jan, and Feb sessions?

I think someone on this board mentioned they interviewed in Oct and were offered July 21st class date. I think 20-25 of us interviewed, no one received a phone call. We all received an email in March which said "Recently, our off-the-street interviews were reduced significantly, so we could accommodate a large number of our flow-through pilots and some of our furloughed pilot electing to return to AA .... Hopefully, we'll be back on track sometime late summer"
