On day 1, you give them your logbooks/military printout, then they give it back at the end of day 2. No questions were asked. I haven't heard of anyone being asked anything at all about their logbooks.
I showed up with both the single sheet (USAF) and the green folder. I only presented the single sheet when asked for my documents and I was asked for the green folder instead. That was in sept last year.

I would imagine they are trying to get all the recalls squared away. There are still several hundred, so off the street will slow down for a while.

Yes four days plus the admin day. Everything done by seniority and junior folks go to class first is the way it was done for us.

Airbus awards are getting a longer break as training is backed up.

Thanks for the welcome back, Track.

It seems American has not hired many off street pilots in the past year. Does any one know when that may change?

Recalls have been trickling back. 120+ guys took the immediate recall to qualify for the two year LOS offered in Jan. They should be in some, but not all, of the March-June slots.

Have they sent out any invitation for video interviews for Nov/Dec '14 and 2015 so far? Or are they currently conducting only F2F interviews for those who successfully passed the video interview back in 2014? Are new hire invited to join classes based on successfully completing the process in 2014?
From what i gather interviews are stagnant as of recently. Can anybody shed some light or provide additional information? Thank you in advance.

The AA folks at WAI mentioned the recent recalls choked up the training pipeline. Expect the video invites to start going out soon now that the convention is wrapped up and the training center can start to breathe again.

Video interviews went out mid-Jan, and some of those folks are doing the face-to-face this week.
