And if anything, this little "bump" probably still leaves a long way to go to make up for the last few months of metering. It's a start, but far from enough.

Anyone got an idea of how many folks have been hired so far?

Doesn't the agreement say "50%" of the newhires and the company can cap it at 20 per month?

If that's correct it would be 12-13 AE and 13-12 off the street. The statement indicates that it's 20 AE and 5 off the street.

The company can cap it at 50%, but they have to have an aggregate of 50% by the time they reach the end of the 824. Since they have been falling behind the last few months, they are going to have to "true up" at some point. This 20/5 breakdown helps, but probably doesn't go nearly far enough.

The talk is that all hiring will be done on the aa side soon. I guess starting in August the classes will be started together in dfw for the first three days? Can anyone confirm this? After that I wonder if you would be assigned whatever they need or if they will still be separate I.e those hired on the airways side would go to Phx for Indoc and those hired from aa would stay in dfw . Interesting times ahead

They already started doing combined 3 days of orientation with US and AA hires. After the first week, US hires are going to indoc in PHX.

AAG has been witholding the Envoy pilots from flowing at 50% of each class. The company is allowed to withold down to 20, but only as a last resort. Apparently the agreement requires them to try everything before witholding, and they didn't try anything; they went straight to witholding. So, I get why they're ****ed off.

I'm told the extra 7 guys coming in this class, catches the number of guys witheld to less than 10. But they are still at less than 50% in total; so AAG is again not living up to their word.
