All kinds of bs. Because they are getting recalled soon. Some already have like Dave. They have kids in school and established a life out east and don't want to commute. I just don't think its fair that if we merge like CO and Delta then in relative position these guys will go senior to there own guys on the west. How can that be? Hoping for the Nic. But I don't know.... Eastholes want doh. Hope we get our own representation.
I flew a trip with a West Pilot being recalled and forced back to PHX. The Westie said USAPA was offering them their DOH on the East Metal. The West did not want any DOH precedent for a West Pilot. Make them sit on the bottom in PHX.
We had a great trip, good pilot very professional.

That's what Im hearing too. They can stay east with their west doh. Big unfair advantage if you ask me. That's why we have the fence. Sounds to me like they are jumping it. My grandmom lives in CT. I could go sit in phl for a few years 15% senior to myself out here and spend time with her.

You better put your thinking cap on. So if it goes doh for east/west what advantages do those pilots get? what about with the nic? The only way that works out for them is if it's a pure 3 way and the arbtrators give the east every thing they want. What does law of averages tell you? Usapa is doing this so they can use any that stay east as proof doh is better.

Well I say to each his own if they want to roll the dice on a bad bet then thats their choice. There wont be DOH and there wont be a 3 way. Neither the court or the M/B arbitration panel will reject a valid arbitration award. Think of the message that sends to others arbitration. No I think the NIC will stand at the end of the day, the east will have gotten their fence via time served and the flood gates shall be opened.

These guys will have been hoodwinked by the east. Lets take a look at another of their gems. The east is going to UAL and the west to Alaska. Delta is going to buy the east and the west will merge with frontier. The one I love the most is how the profitable east operation will be merged with United and the west will be broken up and sold off in pieces.

These guys are desperate now and willing to say any and everything.

"Nic number..." nice. Now we apparently have "cafeteria" style seniority lists.

"Let's see, I'm, XXXX on the Nic, but YYYY on the proposed USAPA list. Then, there's ZZZZ if you combine APA lists with Eagle flowbees, minus the furloughees from 2 lists, plus DOH; how can I best reap the windfall through behavior, letters, etc?"

It's already started... this is going to blow chunks.

You beasties proud? You made seniority like "crew meals".

I'm afraid it'll only get worse. Go to the UA/CO sub-forum and look back over some of the vitriol during their process, and multiply it by a factor of ten (or more). Throw in the numbered Eaglets, the leftover anger from the TWA situation and (to a far lesser extent) Reno, and you've got a pretty heady brew just on the AA side. Then there's the disaster on our side, with a seniority dispute that's been festering for eight years including multiple lawsuits.

And people think I'm being pessimistic when I tell them there's NO WAY this doesn't wind up before an arbitration panel. Hell, I think there's a 50/50 chance that somebody throws a punch in the heat of battle and one or more persons spends a night in the hoosegow!

The best possible thing would be for all of us to shut the hell up, let our respective representatives do their work, then live with the results like grown-ups. But we all know that won't happen ...
