Yes I do think it helps as I have many pilots from many different airlines in my jumpseat weekly that have no real clue as the the details of our situation. In politics when people what to shed a negative light on a person or subject they just saturate the airwaves with their message. Now its not my intent to change they way people feel about the arbitration decision as that part is over and done. It is my intent however to show the profession just how some people act when they make a deal then decide to not honor it. I dont care if they dont like and frankly I dont care if you dont like, that's not the point. I dont like red light camera's but you dont see me out there tearing them down either. I accept the fact that they are there like it or not and I act accordingly.

WD- Just for your consideration. Pilots in your jumpseat are not going to tell you what they really think. There is a good chance they are wishing that they had taken the next flight. While I have no idea how AA pilots feel about this, if you happen to find ONE- just one pilot who actually cares and who does not know the situation, I do stand corrected. Be sure to ask him about life on Mars.

Very interesting concept you have there, what else about the industry do you not really give a damn about?? When management teams around the industry starting taking pages out of usappy's play book concerning arbitration are you going to be concerned then?? That kind of knife slashes both ways!

The problem with most pilots such as yourself is your lack of honor and integrity shines like a beacon. Not until you are on the receiving end of the ramrod will you understand or even care. This is the very reason we have different pay scales for the same equipment at different carriers. NO TRUE UNITY only greed. People like you talk a good game but when the chips are down and its time to really make a difference where the hell are you?? Hey you got yours right so to hell with everyone else or the professions as a whole. The airline pilot in this country today is in a position to make major changes to pay and benefit based purely on the fact that we are in short supply. Pilots should be taking advantage of this the same way any dealer in rare goods does. Over 2 million lawyer in this country and damn near as many doctors and they make far more that YOU yet YOU belong in the rare category.

Next time your contract comes up for negotiations, take that same "I dont care I just want a ride" attitude with into management. Management has a name for people who think like you, its "stupid a$s". Good luck with the remainder of your career...

I predict a minimum of 5 years before there is a SLI in place at American. Perhaps we should get a pool going but I don't think its going to happen fast at all. Its going to play out in the courts and be very slow in happening.

Again- is it necessary to call fellow pilots "roaches" ? Just tone it down.

Where is the moderator? He must be on his own rant about binding.
The ALPA machine told us how it would come down. Nobody had a say in the matter. It really doesn't matter if you have paid tens of thousands in dues to ALPA to have a new hire placed in front of a pilot with 17 years of service. The next arbitration will be a group of three to put some reason in this mess with Mac Bond.

I hear and understand what you are saying but I hope you are wrong.

There is a real need for the NIC thing to come to a close. The angry ones will be angry no matter what. Every pilot group has them and that part will not change.

All three pilot groups involved have a bright future in front of them, the NIC will poison it if it prevails.

The ALPA machine? Did not the east group request binding arbitration?
