Delay has been the east's friends up until now. As of APA single carrier filing , delay has become the west's best friend. That knife seems to cut both ways.
P.S This filing is all about delay, nothing else. Question is what does more delay give the company? I think you know.

Nah, delay kills usapa, gives the west a seat and let's the nic. be presented to 3 neutral parties. Oh yeah, usapa/east can't sue until after sli process is complete according to usapa's own case law.

The West Pilots seek a declaration that they are entitled to participate in the upcoming seniority integration process for all pilots at the post-merger airline. Judge Silver ruled the West Pilots are not entitled to participate yet some Westies think that the company and the APA are planning to disregard her order, and they think no one can sue to have her order followed until after the SLI is complete if the company and the APA disregard her order.
No wonder Marty is getting rich off them.
