Now you state that the message is lost however you seems to always be somewhere near the beginning of the line to post your opinion on those messages. I am going to offer you a word of advice young man, don't tell people to move on when the subject does not effect you! Now if you wish to cheapen subjects and events that effect your life then I say move on at will but to say that to those who are effected is insulting.

No he is a 3rd list pilot like yourself and as such really should not be considered original east. He has a valid pilot except that it was not a joint venture that caused LCC to make all those millions. The making of that money was a byproduct of the east's actions in avoiding their obligations with respect to final and binding arbitration.

I do goad you and Cacti because you jump in with R57 (who I give credit to because he admits he voted against the creation of USAPA and will admit if he thinks he's made a mistake), you and Cacti never do. You never admit change, even when presented with something that counters a statement you've made. You irrationally call people scabs and you are often the very type of hypocrite you claim to be against. The effect is nauseating.
I very rarely post my opinion on the subject of the Nic, in fact, I don't think I have posted my thoughts one way or the other. So don't presume that I am telling you to move on, I'm simply suggesting you try a different approach, one that is a little more rational and a little less hypocritical. Those you affect might be more inclined to side with you.

I thought I read earlier he was a west guy but I could be mistaken, if so, I made an error. The only reason I comment is because you and cacti ruin every f'ing thread in here with the same mantra, scab this, easthole that. Every single thread.
Is it that or is it that we are pointing out that these people feel justified in their and looking for support for their low rent move?

By your very own admission you goad others then come back stating that the message is lost. I wonder if you even realize that makes you just as big a hypocrite. I say change your actions and you just may get a different response for me. I am not in a position to speak for Cacti but his anger is justified.

I think the Company (Siegal) will get the West a seat. Just an opinion made without all the facts but this is what I think a MB arbitrators will do. No NIC for the West. No DOH/LOS for the East. East and West will be blended to some ratio. So West 05 hire might be next to a East 89 hire. No fences on USAir WB flying. You have had 7 or 8 years of fence already. The West not getting revenge, the East not getting the West stapled. Time to move on.
One thing that bothers me. The APA did not tell USAPA the company came calling. That gives them a huge advantage to come up with a plan to benefit them. I remember something about the company changing the 350 order. I wonder if Parker, who has been a Airbus fanboy in the past would consider a change if it got the APA to "play the game". Something like "we have lots of Boeing product on the way. That 350 order is not that big, we would be better served if we changed those to NEO'S and used the 777 and 787 for those routes". If those seats disappeared how would that affect USAPA? Contract agrees to pay WB wage for NB pilot? Or does it? If USAPA agrees to take 350 flying and give the AA fences what happens if the 350 goes poof? You can't cross that fence per your agreement in MB. That is the problem with 15 page contracts in complex situations. Leaves a lot of wiggle the other direction that you don't want. The best way is to always cover every possible permutation. Long and complex and costly. But it gets the job done the client desires. Sorry the hangover is making things cloudy if you don't follow I will try to clear it up before leaving tomorrow.

A fleet of 21 A330s isn't huge, but not tiny. What cost advantage would he have shifting it to AA? You would have to retrain all the pilots, instead of just training US pilots on the AA procedures.
As for the A350s, the company just converted them all to 900s, so it looks like they are coming.
As far as the west getting separate representation, that seems to be what the company has wanted for a long time. Parker first suggested that in a crew news session around a year ago.
We'll see.

But woulda, shoulda, coulda doesn't matter. It is what it is and you admitted that you didn't have an issue with separate ratification when you though YOU GUYS might need to use it.
We are where we are. We'll see what Judge Silver has to say and how the future plays out.

You can't say that, as we don't know what would have happened had we taken a different road. I might have been better off pay wise had we gotten that dream contract you guys talk about. Or is we sold out for the Kirby and tossed our min fleet then maybe cacti and I would both be worse off. We'll never know. What I do know is that I'm flying the bid I held on 9/11/2001, but still making less money.

Hold on now, what different road man? No other carrier was stupid enough to touch usair! SWA had moved in to PHL and their plan was to cut your heads off and leave the bodies to the scavengers. Parker stepped up and ruined their plans so when you say "taken a different route" you really need to explain that one.

So not push to arbitration then. Well we tired to get the east MEC to not go there and be fair but they had DOH on the brain and refused to see any other position. Now given that what choice did we have? Give up and say ok east you can have it?? HELL NO!! The east was and continue to be Unreasonable
