You've been saying that for a while now. I don't think our next bid will be out by then.......

I guess Streble got tired of the BS. I hope he takes a few non-payers with him.

......and hopefully my last. At any rate, what occured in the past isn't necessarily a roadmap for the future.

The S80's were supposed to be gone within 5 years and at least half the fleet is now slated for repainting (I talked to one of the paintshop guys and they had a contract for 50) and should still be here for years as well, so I believe a significant portion of the orders will be for modest domestic expansion and widebody International fleet will expand greatly with new 777/787's.

Don't know what US side hiring is going to be, but we're supposed to do 50/month indefinately and that could be 1500 before we even merge certificates, train together and are under one list.

I'm "bullish" on USAPA defining at least the next 2 and possibly 3 years of our pilot nuptuals.

Could be the AA order could be replacement for the US or West busses too. Who knows what they are going to do, but I have a feeling they aren't going to want to keep the thing separate for any longer than they have to.

It was to his advantage to do it with us, with the cost savings of LOA 93, he had a built in excuse to save money. Most likely he ran the numbers and figured it saved them money with the operations separate. Now with pay being the same, he has 2 yrs of lower wages on the whole airline to pay for putting this merger together. (I.E. until parity date)

He might be playing a safe bet to watch the economy too. He can push back orders as US has multiple times over the years if stuff goes downward, and I'd imagine your S80's are paid for?

Unless we have the memo from parker as to what the actual fleet plans are, all of it is just speculation.

Me personally, fence me into CLT, and leave me alone for the next 23 years and I'll be happy. I have no lust for AA's 777 or 787 or even the international flying at all. Don't like how it's done on this level. I flew around the world for 10 yrs and had layovers 2-5 days at a time. Don't need to do it again...

Thats the problem with short sighted pilots! The east would have picked 15% over LOA93 while the west would have only picked up a lowly 3%. The real heart break for your kind of thinking is that we would be on another contract by now so frankly everyone lost out because of very poor decision making.

I will let you think as you wish as its been proven over time that you can not fix stupid and stupid is leaving money on the table and in the pockets of management that loved your bonuses to them. All the PSA people that live out here which is twice that of those west pilots that live back there would have been in PHX closer to home making more money and as I have stated would be on a new contract by now. In the end we will end up with the NIC or something extremely close to it and all this would have been for not as it will be pointed out that "all they got was 7 years of crap wages".

You're right, you can't fix stupid and your stupid would have been to jump all over the POS Kirby proposal to cement the Nic.

Like I said short sighted pilots and you tops the list. Look not even going to argue with you over this, I would stake my retirement on the fact that you will end up on the NIC or and end product with the APA that looks exactly like it.

7yrs of of banging your head against a wall to get nothing but a sore dome.
