My chart shows the Kirby with a narrow body 12 year F/O rate of $100.32, 48 months after signing.

This was proposed back in 07 right? Even back then it would have been pretty below average.

I know stand alone we'll never get dal or ua pay. But we should get at least 5%-10% more than Jetblue.

Yep, '07 proposal and almost 2 years after the merger was announced. Contrary to the revisionists, every I knew, east and west was p.o.ed about it. I sent Kirby an email about the fact that his proposal had NO raise, for the duration of the contract for the 190. He, or whoever answered his emails then, answered within minutes that it was because of competitive conditions, i.e. jetBlue. I pulled up their rates and reminded him that jetBlue had raised their 190 rates significantly. The next reply was "Well, I really don't know what the jetBlue rates are now, but that is what they used to be. You won't like this, but jetBlue rates really don't matter because they don't have anyone at top of scale like we do." I told him that he was right, I didn't like it because it wasn't my fault that I was at the top of scale.

I will give you credit when its due but this is way outta bounds. Kirby had nothing in it at all for west pilots which is why we were ready to counter. All the economic benefits went to the east and a lousy 1% came west which would have gotten a resounding no vote here.

The award was so far away from this lottery ticket theory that you all cry about that it too is not even funny. a LOTTERY TICKET WOULD BE A STAPLE JOB!! A LOTTERY TICKET WOULD BE DOH!!! Blended seniority was was not a lottery ticket in fact one could make the argument that the east even keeping jobs was a lottery ticket considering your financial shape and bankruptcy at the time.

It was a clear windfall for the bottom 50-60% of your seniority list.

Sure am glad we had that powerhouse AWA route network to save us all. From the 2008 10K:

Despite the capacity reductions in 2008, we were able to increase service in certain markets. Domestically, we
added new non-stop service from our Charlotte hub to Montreal, Quebec; Austin and San Antonio, Texas;
Fort Walton Beach and Daytona Beach, Florida; Gulfport, Mississippi and Sacramento, California, and from our
Philadelphia hub to Sacramento, California. In January 2009, we began service from Washington National to
Akron/Canton, Ohio. In 2008, we also added new transatlantic service from our Philadelphia hub to London’s
Heathrow Airport and announced three new transatlantic flights to begin in Spring 2009, including service from our
Philadelphia hub to Birmingham, U.K. and Oslo, Norway as well as service from our Charlotte hub to Paris, France.
We also announced additional non-stop service from Boston’s Logan International Airport to eight destinations in
Latin America and the Caribbean to operate in January-March 2009. In addition, we received Department of
Transportation (“DOT”) approval to operate daily non-stop service from our Philadelphia hub to Tel Aviv, Israel.
Service, which is awaiting Israeli government approval, is slated to begin in July 2009 utilizing a new A330-200
aircraft.

Looks at all the west growth! Thank you, thank you.

Crap, but let me remind you what you claimed:

"Kirby would be paying you what MOu 2 pays right now with 10 more days vacation."

More cacti BS. Now, what is your 10 year still on reserve west F/O making? A little more than our 2 year E190 captain?

Having someone make less than your lousy pay is not winning.

Absolute garbage you are spewing. AWA was running 7yr upgrades and the pilots here would have continued to hit that mark. The windfall you all cry about just doesn't exist and never did. The real deal was that east pilots expected to recoup via this merger and were more than willing to do it on the backs of the AWA pilots. This was also very evident based on the unwavering east position of DOH or bust.

So try your best to explain how if it were this lottery ticket before how it wouldn't not the be same after?? See the garbage you spew stinks to high heaven. The award would not change but the east can live with a 5yr fence and still take the nic and thats even AFTER age 65???

Stop with the nonsense Relay as you just like the rest of the angry f/o club have become very transparent.

Lets tell the real story shall we? You and the rest of the east liars put out this modest 5yr fence offer as a complete front. If the west would agreed to modify the award then we would be saying that it must really be flawed and if that was the case it would give you a do over. We are not that stupid man and you all really need to stop insulting everyone's intelligence. The east made a deal then went back on its word and this seems to be a continuing theme over in the east. Complete and utter lack of integrity

You know WD, I wonder if you really believe your BS, or you just want to convince those that don't know any better. Only you and a few other delusional west pilots believe that.

The guy that would lead the new AA certainly doesn't. He's said that the best bet for AWA was a chapter 11 filing, about a 15% fleet reduction and furloughs. Hard to keep 7 year upgrades on that.

In 2005 DL and NW entered chapter 11, but somehow AWA, who had a 2004 annual loss leading up to the US merger, and the first airline with an ATSB loan would have avoided all of that. Riiight. That powerhouse LAS hub we are no running would have saved the day.

Amazing.

No the real question is do you really believe yours?? Here we go again with he said she said but let us stick to facts ok. Was AWA in bankruptcy prior to this merger yes or no?? Was there even a filing in the federal bankruptcy court for America west at the time relay yes or no?? How man America west pilots were on furlough at the time relay? Where there any AWA pilots on furlough at the time?? How many new hire classes were being conducted at AWA prior to this merger relay??

Was USAir in bankruptcy prior to this merger? No need to ask if there was a filing in the federal bankruptcy court because question number 1 took care of that. How many USAir pilots were on furlough at that time relay? How many new hire classes were being conducted at USair prior to the merger relay??

Now lets see if you can be honest or will you make excuses and provide sound bites
