The list and arbitration and the outcome is speculation. The MOU was presented to USAPA on the day prior to the NDA. USPA will present a road show in the next few weeks prior to a USAPA member vote in three weeks concerning the MOU. The NDA prevents any serious questioning of the MOU. My guess is it will be a very close vote with East guys over 60 voting yes and West voting yes because it involves Change of Control being forfeited. The MOU looks like a POS that has a great deal of givebacks with little return. It appears to allow for a great quantity of 190's and future 195's at USAirways and AA and 90 hr pay cap. DP was very shrewd in presenting MOU one day prior to NDA. If the MOU in present form passes, many of the terms will carry over to the CBA which will have substandard pay until the next BR or CBA in about 2020. This is how I read it. The official Road Show will have all the vague details.

No dog in the hunt and not intending to flame, but at what point does this job become either not worth fighting for or not worth doing for the individuals in the three affected pilot groups?

Why would you listen to this babbling fool? The Mou just negotiated gives parity with ual/dal in 3 years. This Idiot you are talking to get's anywhere from $30 to $50 hour immediate raise with 10 more days vacation per year.

Most all the third list guys feel this is a good deal.

It is a great deal for you guys. You won't see the fast seat progression that separate ops will give you but you will earn more and have better qol than current east captains as fo's anyways.

Not the ones I talk to(me included). Most of us think it is a crappy deal, it just might be better than the alternative (no MOU). At least a few of us are waiting for the road-shows to decide...

Yeah Andy that's the rub. Is the risk of having nothing going into a merger worth it?
