Remember, not a dollar of the money being tossed around/spent in a bankrupt company is his.
Parker is a dangerous man with personal issues. I remind you folks again, look at the company he runs now and it's internal issues he leads now.
He's old school management that is responsable for the industry's core problems with employees.

Thanks for reminding me that he is an employee like all the others. Sometimes I think he's a homeless person, so I'm glad GW258 is here to set me straight.
What exactly is you're definition of "old school management"? If Parker and his team didn't come along there could be a very convincing argument that America West and US Airways would be gone.

Both. It's Grarry. MMMMM, so good.
I just get annoyed with these blanket statements that really don't mean anything. I'm sure if you were anointed to his position, with his advisers, your decisions wouldn't look all that different from his.
I'm not delusional, I realize he's a CEO and he's no friend to labor but he's honest to us, and I'll give him a small amount of respect for that.

US Airways CEO: Everybody Wants a Merger Except for AMR Bosses - TheStreet
Read the article and tell me how they can gut your contract when they put out comments like :
AMR released a statement declaring "today's excellent results demonstrate that the new American is performing extremely well"
Sooooo....they are performing extremely well but they still need you take these cuts? Classic!
So, how are you going to vote on that TA?

I think the vote will be close and too early to tell at this point which camp has the advantage.

Are you labor? If you are and think Parker is "honest" then you will never be responsible for any action that will stop the decline of the profession due to people like Parker. You and types like c-boss will always drag the rest down. The weakest now leads and the rest of us will suffer for now.

Oh yeah, and thanks for the current contract. It's awesome. You guys have been doing an outstanding job. Keep it up, and maybe we can work under this contract for another ten years.
