Default RABBIT Season---DUCK Season!

aa73---I've never considered you to be a 'TWA Hater', but you have on many occasions tried to rationalize the AA-TWA debacle. You must understand this is a sensitive subject and old wounds haven't healed. Nuff' said.

Dolphinflyer---you're 100% right about TWA training and Captain's Authority, which was paramount and never superceded. Safety was indeed first, and Captains were the cornerstone of that philosophy.

I also have to agree with FliFast that instead of a unified, 13,000-strong pilot force at AA, the group was divided and stays that way.

Yes, I try and "rationalize" it the same way you guys try and "rationalize" your points as well. It is a two-way street, and completely acceptable. The problem is that some of your co-workers on here absolutely refuse to acknowledge any other rationalizations other than their own. In their eyes there is no "rationalization" (false, there are always two sides to the story.) Agree 100% that it is a sensitive subject, and it has never been my intention to dictate which and when wounds should heal.

Is there a scenario where the TWA pilots could break ranks from the APA and join forces with the USAir pilots to even the number of pilot position to be integrated ?? Anyone ?

Maybe the USAPA could court the AICA and the TWA pilots in a similar fashion that dougie courted the APA ??

Not near enough former TWA for that to happen. Even if every TWA pilot, East and West pilot did this, native AA still overwhelming majority. You'd have to get a lot of defections from AA natives. Besides, you'd NEVER get the East and West pilots all on the same page anyway.
