#11
HAHAHA! Very Funny...
'Fair'? Noone at AA or more specifically APA/APFA knows what that means.

...That being said, US Airways management can agree to this so quick yet they have spent nearly a decade without a combined agreement from their last merger......... Their management could have inked a deal to combine their contracts and lists long long ago.

Point being on the above, all the Airways pilots, old and new, and the AA need to put up a united (no pun intended) front. Doesn't matter who merged with who. As union members we dropped the ball 25 years ago (even long before that) by not having one national seniority list or at least a DOH policy for all mergers. We continue to play into management's hands in our industry by all the infighting created in these situations. But what do I know, I'm just a pilot.

At least the APA guys have a pair......
I'm glad their telling Horton and the boyz where they can stick their stock options...
If AMR was a ALPA carrier they would be running around crapping their pampers telling everyone to vote YES just like what happened at NWA, DAL, UAL and UsAir....
Just goes to show that independent Unions can and do work..........
I would rather go out on my feet with pride then clammering on my knees In front of some airline management slob........

I'm still waiting for AMR's first smart move in a decade. Will this be a turning point to level the wings and bring them back to their senses or will they simply tighten their graveyard spiral ?
I think we're at the "terrain, terrain" phase. If they keep pulling back, we'll be at the "whoop,whoop.......pull up, pull up" point, but by then they'll be so low and so fast, they'll either rip the wings off or slam into the ground.

dont hold your breath. If they (AMR) do come around and give something equal to what Parker is offering, you better go with parker. AMR will not let this go with out major retribution after exiting BK. They will refile BK again in two years. These manager believe the world revolves around them and the AA unions did not just poke them in the eye, they cut there balls off.

As I said before, once AMR loses control, it'll be difficult to get it back and they're just about there. Clearly, all parties including creditors and investors have to be questioning this management teams performance since declaring BK.
